Many folk who use public transit are disabled and would not be able to ride in a gondola, moreover the largest segment of our population is aging and will need increased mobility support like, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs so adding this would take away public money that could be used to improve existing infrastructure.
We need electric buses and trains, not skyway trams.
