I worked at a McDonald's as a teen. Someone came through the drive thru and gave me their application. I immediately gave it to my manager who proceeded to throw it away in front of me. His reason was that the person didn't care enough about the job or some bullshit. I was then ordered to throw away any other applications received through the drive thru.
Because it was led by literal children. 30,000 some adults, ect. Never fought a battle but the survivors were sold into slavery. There is no good ending to any Crusade. I have a longer answer under the "well we are waiting" gif.
My memory is a bit hazy, but I was told to study the children's crusade specifically to lead the next children's crusade. Those were my mom's exact words and intent.
Well here is the story of the Children's Crusade.
There are two conflicting accounts although both could have happened. Year of 1212 give or take.
What's agreed on is the following.
A Shepard boy claimed Jesus called him to lead a crusade. He was convincing. Enough to get an army of about 30,000. So they marched from France or Germany with 30,000 kids and a small number of adults. A lot of kids died making the trip. First casualties of the Crusade.
Only 7,000 remained once they reached a port on the Mediterranean Sea. The rest either died or went home.
This whole time 30,000 kids believed that the Mediterranean would split like the Red Sea. When it didn't the surviving 7000 lost more troops as kids went home disappointed, settled down to live in the fishing village or something else with their life's.
The crusade moved on until they found a couple ships willing to take them to Jerusalem. This is where the Children's Crusade ends. The remaining children were tricked and sold into slavery, or died in a shipwreck.
A different account says the Shepard boy went home in disgrace and died on the way home.
Total result: 30,000 kids and adults wasted their lives following a child.
There are more records of various followers making it to other cities and ports. But no report of anyone from the Children's Crusade making it to Jerusalem.
My dad used to iron his jeans. They were razor sharp lol he passed away decades ago but ill never forget he ironed his jeans. One of those weird little details.
I get it, but my favorite multi-player game is mobile suit Gundam battle operation 2. Try it. The community has really been pruned of trolls and bad actors. The game makes it more frustrating for them, but more fun with people who just wanna play giant robots. Sure sometimes you get stomped because of a whole ducking clan attacking at once, but I find the wide range of mechs with lots of different playstyles counter the stomping.
It's a nice picture of Odysseus.

I hated that job

I volunteer for tribute.

But yes, ironing jeans is a thing I've seen
Columbus was the first European to explore Cuban isles. Lief Erickson explored Newfoundland about 400 years before I believe.

So someone educate me.
This only applies to newly bought games? So if I stop buying games my current collection can be played offline right? Am I understanding this?
Had to explain the last month to my wife so she would understand this meme with me.
