That would work. I'm not too sue what scrolling between the comments would do exactly. Isn't that the purpose already of the scroll wheel / page up & down?
It would be nice to have the option to go from one post directly to the next one, ideally also with hotkeys. Especially in image based communities it would be a timesaver to just hit right arrow (or whatever hotkey) to see the next image post.
