Just finished Bring Her Back. Pretty top notch, imo. Same directors did Talk To Me which was great. Weapons was enjoyable, but not in my top 10 of last 15 years, give or take.

I feel like we’ve been in a horror movie golden age for a bit. It will likely sputter out soo . A lot of them seem to be hitting the same vibe/style, so getting overdone feeling.

Agreed. People still essentially consent to a form of ‘minority rule’. If more people viewed it through the lens of 25% support, might get greater participation.

“Once less than 25% percent of people vote, I can easily argue that a government that is ignored by 3/4ths of the population has no legitimacy to govern over me and agitate that any use of force by the police or the army is an act of aggression by an external party.” Who are you going to agitate towards?
