The only way cops will respect people's rights is if they're afraid of what might happen if they violate them. That goes for all people. Power corrupts. Without checks to keep them in line, every cop is corrupt.
That's my hope but if they rig the election or refuse to vacate their seats after losing, it'll require the police/military (where many officials have already been replaced by magat loyalists) to step in.
Who's going to charge and arrest him? The best we can hope for is massive nationwide protests or him failing to rig the election in 2028 and the next administration charging him if he doesn't flee the Russia first
