I recall these kinds of threads on Reddit when Digg was imploding, the OG Reddit hipsters were annoyed at the influx of users and the change it brought to discourse on the platform.
But the fact is, if we want Lemmy to grow, it's going to change.
I think if they'd framed it properly, in that by using Apollo I'm bypassing their ad revenue and costing them money, I'd see it as a reasonable compromise that I pay for Premium to support the company and carry on using Reddit in the way I preferred.

Simply rolling over and letting Russia win won't save Ukrainian lives, it'll cost a lot more of them.
The only way this war ends is if Russia leaves, or loses. Any alternative goes against everything the USA and the west stand for.
