O&G was booming under Biden as well though? Like the endless expansion in the Permian Basin was going full throttle, just with a least some oversight. The companies weren't even drilling all their leases because they didn't want to drop the price of oil.

I just finished this one. The evolution of the story and the final act was so satisfying.

I love the bit where he wants to use his massive steam ship to just run over the ironclads.

Damnit. I had the numbering wrong. I thought 7 was the new one to be released this year. I got all excited thinking it dropped already.

"American service members are bravely risking their lives to protect their country from nuclear dangers" - how the fuck are you meant to keep reading this after that bullshit and propaganda bloated line?

You said great grand parents. So parents at 15. Grandparents at 30. Great grand parents at 45. Which is possible but seems like an outlier and not representative of average millennial when discussing millennial experiences or tropes.

Great grand parents who are at maximum 45 years old? So they had kids at 15 and then their kids had kids at 15 who are having kids right now? I mean yeah that could happen. Seems like an extreme outlier but I wouldn't bet against it.

Our whole system is based on the systematic oppression and violence on marginalized groups and countries. Taking direct violence on perpetuators of the system of exploitation and death is just directly addressing it, instead of allowing ourselves to continue to benefit from unseen pain and suffering. It seems allowing yourself to continue benefiting from evil would be more soul tainting than using violence to help others.
