Chef John is one of the YouTube cooking channel pioneers. His recipes are easy with not a ton of ingredients or steps and absolutely delicious. Some find his cadence of speech and dad jokes annoying, but you can't knock the end result. Lots of good cooking tips weaved into the series as well.

ST:TNG - Data's daughter, Lal, is learning about human relationships by observing people on 10 forward. Her reaction when she sees two people kissing always tickles me. "He's biting her!"

Completely agree. I enjoy canned tuna, and canned chicken will work in a pinch if I don't have chicken tenderloins in my freezer. The husband also keeps spam in the pantry. Not my favorite, but still not horrible either.

If you ask my husband, it is always having backup of staples.

We always have rice, pasta, beans (dried and canned), canned tomatoes (along with other canned vegetables), variety of canned soups and sauces, dried spices of all sorts.

Naturally, fresh or frozen is healthier for you (sodium levels vs canned).

Can pretty much take a combination of the above, throw in some protein, add in some fresh elements, and you have a full meal.

Biggest tip I can think of - drain your tuna can as much as possible, squeeze as much liquid out as you can. In find this improves the flavor immensely regardless of any other added ingredients.
