Would you rather be warned about it, or notice it yourself? Kbin seems to be the most pedantic fediverse app, with its insistence that users be aware of the implications of the use.
@clueless_stoner A community that states what kind of expression is allowed / not allowed is a lot less oppressive than one where what you're allowed to say is curtailed by bullying, which is what happens to communities that don't take a stand.

They could do a much better job of raising awareness without annoying users.

@utg @nostupidquestions that’s a great way to put it. We are just starting to see what this new social media fediverse will look lol. It’s exciting!
