That's pretty much it. I've read as far as chapter 47, and it's very unremarkable. There were times where they lingered on the main character's sex life, and they didn't really pull that off either; it seemed pretty pointless.
All that being said, I might still give the anime a chance because the early bits of the manga were interesting enough.

My main point was that the emphasis on sex, how it's presented, and the extent to which this is interwoven with Rudy's personality, will obviously be a turnoff to some.
Rudeus is a really, really flawed character, and it definitely means that the anime and LN won't be for everyone, but if you can accept it, there's a lot there to enjoy. I agree that it makes it difficult to recommend to people.
I've read up through volume 19 of the LN, and though I love the series, I'd absolutely prefer if Rudy's libido were slightly less of a focal point.

If I'm not mistaken to make your instance available to other people you'd have to set up a reverse proxy. And a correctly set up reverse proxy shouldn't reveal your IP, only the local IP (127.0.0.1).
This is incorrect. The reverse proxy only handles the internal routing, so if you're not tunneling, or otherwise obfuscating your IP, selfhosting websites exposes your IP address.
