I did about 7 years ago. Bought pre-cut wood and built a 'barcade'. To be honest I got more use out of it as a digital pinball machine as I had built two buttons on the sides which I used for the flippers. Now I got myself a candycab (Namco Exceleena II) complete with original CRT. Has a PC inside hooked up to JAMMA controls via a J-PAC. Can't beat having a proper arcade CRT!

I jumped into Nier:Automata pretty blind, but ended up loving and completing it! I'm generally not a huge fan of JRPGs (either find them a huge grind, or story just too impenetrable), but found this flowed and the story, although still quite strange, I could actually get. All-in-all, good stuff. Oh, and I found the soundtrack absolutely gorgeous! Ended up buying that on vinyl.

Yep. Reading up, looks like I'll have to go with an original pressing... Am glad there IS a half-decent pressing. Was beginning to think was just the original production was a bit poor (when I used to play it loads in the 90s, I would have used pretty rubbish kit)

Ahhh but how does it sound? I have one copy and tried another, but it's just muddy and bleurgh. Such as shame as it's such a great album.

That's great you'll finally be putting the MiSTer to good use. Yeah, having something poorly placed, or too many blockers to using isn't a good thing.
