I live next to a big park, but that park is wrapped by 2 intense streets. So while you refresh yourself next to a pond with ducks in the complete middle of the park, you still hear trucks and schmucks speeding. I can almost live with that, but some people tune their cars not for cool look, or for speed, but to become exceptionally loud. I mean there's gotta be a law they are violating by doing this (like some public order, or same public order but after 22h), and yet.. nobody cares. I guess no one ever got fined by having an extra loud exhaust pipe?

I have worn exactly half of these, and since I not that great at tournaments, I can say that KettleHat is the most fun for audience, you will definitely hear every bang like a church bell. The first is quite comfy (never heard of this name though). GreatHelm / Armet / Hounskull - damn bro, you can't see shit in those while having trouble breathing, and all that for the trade of security :/, no like, feels like you are just a target in the field. Your Bascinet here is extreemely open, it's a good helmet, but I would like to have some more face cover. Sallet, wore it once, many years ago, memories are fairly good.

In Lithuanian we have these:

  • Dievo užmirštame kampelyje - In the little corner God forgot about (typically meaning a beautiful place)
  • Giliame užkampyje - Somewhere deep, behind the corner
  • Pasaulio pakrašty - At the end of the the world

the average person doesn’t know what a bootloader, adb, fastboot etc is

Yeah. Even if one knows - why bother the hustle? If it were that easy as a desktop PC, boot from USB and you have anything you want, that'd be great. But instead, you have to make 63 hacks to get out of the default.

Fully agree with your post. PostmarketOS offering is a welcome wish on Fairphone. And here I am wishing to have Mobian :D

I'm using gmusicbrowser. It's unmaintained since long time ago, but still has a working migrated branch to gtk3. I have forked and fixed some issues that were bugging me, able to compile a deb package on my own. I wish I had more energy in my life, I'd love to code a bit more and maybe reintroduce it back into Debian repos
