If you want to do it yourself instead of using a math library, then my immediate thought is tp write out and calculate the Taylor series of your function. sin(x) is basically x +x^3 + x^5 +... with appropriate constants (look them up on wikipedia) so then sin(x)/x is the same thing but you divide all the parts by x so you're gonna have c + x^2 + x^4 + ... Now just add more parts in a while loop until the error term is small enough or you have spent some maximal number of allowed iterations and you're good.

Funny, I have the exact opposite reaction. I can see myself using the fork fine, but its so unclear where the knife's handle ends and blade begins.

The best pen for math notes is the cheapest ballpoint you can find at your grocerie store.

Gel smears too much and you're going to be loaning pens to classmates so just keep a stack of cheap pens.

1440p 170hz is an enormous difference compared to 1080p 60hz. Especially in something like Path of Exile, where you're reading a lot of small text, the resolution is very meaningful. If you've tried high refresh rate, 60hz feels unbearable afterwards, it's massive.

The problem lies moreso in unoptimised AAA slop games which use all your GPU for shitty graphics.

Why is adoption a thing in this way though? People compare AUR to github which seems very apt, but on Github no-one can come and take over the URL of an abandoned repo for rhemselves, if someone wants to start maintaining and the old owner is MIA, they have to make a fork. Why doesn't AUR work the same way but instead allows anyone to take over any abandoned project with no checks?

Putin has been yelling about nuclear weapons for decades now, you can't just let him do anything he wants with no repercussions. It's time to grow some balls and actually defend our territory

Huh. I can't come up with a reason for why molesting baby Hitler feels so much more wrong than killing baby Hitler. You could even make the argument that it's less wrong.

Is it just because of how killing and death is so normalized in all of modern media?

There is no right answer. It just depends on convention. It's like color vs colour, neither has been shouted down from the heavens to be the only way to write something, it depends on culture.
