I'll have to probably restart X at a later point. I just recently got and finished the FF7 Remake, which I enjoyed much more than OG FF7. But I enjoyed what I experienced of the characters from X, so am looking forward to going back (now that I know you don't have to interact with blitzball after it's introduction...)
We don't have to insult them by calling them simple. Some people just really love Nintendo stuff and have the money to buy it. It's not like they actually make really shitty games that you can't understand why anyone would like them. Their other practices are what call them into question.
I'm still surprised people can get the second game to launch when they launch it through steam. I tried for hours to try and get it running, but the stupid external launcher wouldn't cooperate, so I refunded it. First one worked fine.
I think for this move to make sense, you need to understand how much Kenji Inafune set Capcom back with his MegaMan decisions before his departure. I'm sure this was a big aspect of their different approach to game making.
So the only one you've played is KH3? Of course you're going to be confused about the story. Even going through the other games before getting to KH3 is a bit confusing.
I suppose it may depend on what circles you're talking about them in, because that series is one of the top recommendations for metroidvanias. They've sold over 15 million copies.
In the article it mentions this was in the 1970s. Not sure why they're trying to use it as an example of modern DC comics while also ignoring the current ongoing black led comics.
Okay I think this is actually the best answer in here. I know of too many people that won't play pixel games or PS1 era because "the graphics are bad", which just sends me for a spin because I absolutely adore how they look.
8 is definitely not a good first JRPG to start with, but I think it's an interesting reversal of the regular mechanics/grind that you expect from the genre.
Didn't they stop manufacturing computers with CD/DVD drives a while ago? Perhaps that's what they're referring to.
The recent Silent Hill 2 remake was pretty good, and a good mix of combat/horror. I'd recommend that to anyone that likes modern RE.

Just as much as all of the other gacha/microtransaction filled mobile games are "free", yes.

IIRC, it's mentioned in the manual that some NPCs lie to you. So if that's true, it's not so much a mistranslation as it is an NPC wasting your time.

Honestly, I got about 20 minutes in before turning it off. Does the rest of the film feel the same as those first 20?

Yea, I had fun. Solid 7/10 for me. Story elements and pacing could've been better in places, especially the first half.
But give me a star wars story where it's mostly aliens and there are animatronics/puppets, and I'm a happy camper.
