@cukie@infosec.exchange that's exactly what I got and for whatever reason I didn't get it to work with the GNOME color calibrationā¦ but I found an app on Flathub that worked (once I found its very hidden exported color profile and manually applied it in GNOME Settings).
Could be a quirk of Fedora Silverblue, but my impression is that the user-facing color profile stuff isā¦ not well maintained.
@squid_slime what is ānative OLEDā? GNOME already supports OLED displays fine; Iāve been loving it on my Dell XPS 13 9310 with OLED. Do you mean like a full-black theme, or something? I donāt think thatās something upstream GNOME would implement since it can have other issues, like smearing. For the Shell, a custom theme could work but for apps itās something that apps themselves would need to implement/support with Adwaitaās existing styling framework.
@tyil @that_leaflet it's literally a KDE feature (and used to be a Unity feature); GNOME has never had a global menu. š
