I'm sure there are idiots who tried to play the pump n dump and some MAGAs who deserve whatever comes to them, but I bet a good number of people who "lost money" were insiders recruited to pump the price for political favors.

YMMV installing random APKs from people in that issue thread. Hoping the dev steps in soon and actually implements the changes. Stealth has been my go-to Reddit app ever since Reddit ended open API access.
Using MIT license to me means the product could (and probably would) turn commercial at any moment if it finds success. Yes these projects are free to start, but there could be a huge cost in terms of migration need down the road, if the developer alters the deal.
Personally, I think the real douchebags are web devs who only build and test for chromium based browsers, making some critical tools completely unusable on Firefox/Linux systems. Looking at you, Chase.com.
Really, anyone who develops third-party software that entrenches monopolies.
They have a history of using llama.cpp's code (and bugs) without supporting the project or giving credit. llama.cpp is easy to use, more performant, and truly open source.
I personally feel more sketched out by Facebook marketplace and all of its AliExpress drop shipping posts. Craigslist feels more pure and real (except for the cars, but who goes there for that?) Bought a bread machine on craigslist from a little old lady just a couple of weeks ago. Nice woman. Super easy transaction.
Klean Kanteen has worked great for me. Kept tea that my girlfriend and I made at 7:00 too hot to drink at 13:00. And that was at a snowy mountain lake – the time in between was spent snowshoeing up a mountain trail in the middle of January.
Maybe a silly question, but do you preheat the inside of your thermos with boiling water before adding the coffee from the moka pot?
If not, that small amount of coffee would be quickly cooled by the inner walls of any thermos.

The only significant use of AI is for text generation to my knowledge. Video gen is the only thing that takes up any significant space, and current models can only produce short video clips before they go off the rails. Also, very few people are interested in video gen. It's an expensive toy without much real world utility. Is there something I'm missing? Are these AI companies planning to scrape every video off the net and store them independently for training?
Booking out this much HDD capacity would only make sense to me if 5 TikTok or YouTube competitors all came onto the scene at once. Not AI. AI needs fast, parallelized compute and high performance memory to hold the models it's running. Text slop requires negligible storage.
