We need NHTSA to put out TV spots to get the message out, and little signs to say USE FULL LANES -ZIP MERGE IN XXX FEET
When I was growing up in the UK, Department for Transport or whomever always had TV and radio ads reminding people how to drive: take longer to look for bikes, don't hang out next to a big lorry (truck) blind spot, don't drink and drive, it's hard to focus on two things at once so put your phone away while driving, etc. And they still do this. We need more of that elsewhere too.
I see what you're driving at, but CCTV cameras are recording 24/7 on the offchance that the footage is needed, just in case, by a body who is often regulated and monitored. Whereas the concern with the glasses is that they are operated by an otherwise anonymous individual and the recording is more likely to be targeted rather than a broadly cast net.
The very reason the first camera phones had to be re-engineered to add mandatory shutter sounds to them.
For anyone else in the same boat as me, this is the official Hetzner tutorial on setting up vaultwarden. I'm going to try it at the weekend. I already have the prerequisites taken care of once I order my hetzner server:
Been planning to do this just because; now it seems it's strictly necessary.
Gotta figure out how docker, containerization and all that jazz works. I have an account with hetzner but just web/sql hosting and a managed Nextcloud instance - no vps yet.
Seems like a Saturday project that I hope I can get round to.
Also as the registrant of one of those new fancy TLDs, much like the owner of this website (email.wtf), their own email addresses will fail those stupid email validation checks that only believe in example@example.[com|net|org]
Shitty websites will fail "example@email.wtf", guaranteed - despite it being 100% valid AND potentially live.
Source - I have a ".family" domain for my email server. Totally functional, but some shitty websites refuse to believe it.
Wow. This is awesome. Thank you! I will have to see if the dev has a donate button.
FWIW I had to noodle with the spacing of your json after copying from Lemmy (Voyager android app) but I got it to work. Thanks for sharing!
Ah, this is where mechanical engineering and civil engineering butt heads.
Are you referring to stopping distances?
Yeah, but into a road that is more narrow. You can't fit twice the volume into a pipe half the size and expect the same throughput.

It gets even better if you imagine the dude from dinosaur dinner theatre reading that out in his old time narrator voice
Charlie Brooker warned us about this back when it was just fiction.
Task failed successfully.
What's the difference between a tuna and a piano?
Um. Okay. He's left the building I guess, so this is for the rest of us:
It's just conversation. I'd like if the civilized remainder of this comment section could let me know if I'm coming across as a troll.
I would argue that the British TV personality is more broadly well known. Thdt might change with this guy's sudden notoriety.
Huge-ass plunger, or huge ass-plunger? #xkcd
I'm just shocked he used the proper grammar and got the phrase right. It irks me when people say they "could" care less, when they mean the opposite.
Edit: typo
It's okay, you can also deeply regret his tragic birth, too.
Well, it's the Express, so... It panders to the deluded folk amongst the population of the UK that wish they could get a dose of Trumpist Populism™.
