I highly recommend the hard science fiction books Delta-V and Critical Mass by Daniel Suarez. This concept gets explored there and I found the idea really fascinating. Hope to see this happen in my lifetime!
I buy books as epubs and read them on my Tolino Epos. Buying is a no-brainer for me because if you think about it, the hours of entertainment / price ratio is insanely good with books. Paying between 5-15€ for a book here in Germany is less than I pay for a good meal.
Same here, 208 for me on my bookwyrm To Read list, with some of them only there because I haven't deleted them yet. Shouldn't be more than 10 I would not want to read any longer though I guess.

I second this. Nextcloud + DavX5 (Android) + aCalendar+ (Android) for me, works very well.
