You can easily change the RTC coin cell battery with no soldering

Soldering only comes in to play if you want to get rid of the coin cell all together

With some laptop usage/charging patterns the coin cell would empty to dead easily and I would not hold a charge well anymore after that. So even if replace the coin cell, your usage pattern could kill the next coin cell as fast as the previous one. Hence the need/want for the battery bypass

Most likely the RTC (real time clock) battery is not holding a charge anymore?

The first gen mainboards only charged the RTC battery via the charger so if you didnt plug in the laptop for some time it wouldn't boot anymore even if the main battery had charge because the laptop does not boot with a dead RTC battery

You can either replace the RTC battery yourself or framework can send an RTC battery replacement for free that uses the main battery as the RTC battery but it does require you to solder a single wire to the mainboard

Finland and Russia already use different rail gauge, because Finland still uses the older Russian (Empire) gauge and Russia uses "Soviet" gauge. Its only a 4 mm difference but still any trains that would have to run both gauges have to be designed for both, which most of russian trains are not.

Also the electrical system is completely different

I can say some zigbee plugs have terrible/problematic antennas. I had a situation where:

Plug A <------> Plug B <-> Plug C, where B would have connetion issues but

Plug A <------> Plug C <-> Plug B would be solid

It maybe be that my selected zigbee band is not optimal for every device I use. That could also effect the range/signal strength

There is EMPSA, EuroPA and EPI's Wero. It seems like EMPSA and EuroPA share some members between them and EuroPA and EPI are in a partnership. So kind of indirectly they are working together.

I think the reason Wero is getting attention is because its branded the same in all currently served countries/banks(?, I think), instead of just your banks/mobile apps being branded differently in each country but still being in an alliance on the backend.

Wait until you realize that you don't have to reinstall the OS to go from Fedora Kinoite to Bazzite or the otherway around, just rebase and reboot 🤭
