I do not see anymore significance in declaring "male-made software" than "AI-made software". But I have never been deceitful about it as you can see for yourself. And I have explained myself as well and stand by it. And you are free to disagree.
Okay the first skepticism about "why not wikipedia" have been answered by me on this app itself. So I will simply copy that here. Also we will never do "peer-review".
It is not "better" than Wikipedia in the sense that it is competing. In fact it will work alongside Wikipedia. If Wikipedia is a heap of all information loosely linked with each other, the Skill Graph is the key to navigate the heap. It's the section of library that tells you how the library is itself arranged.
You will use those free resources itself when you use the Skill Graph. We will NOT make documents. The internet already contains adeqaute sources, we simply chain them together in a way that makes learning make sense as it does in a curriculum. The trick is to do it in such a way as to not kill pluralism, hence the modular "Graph" format.
We will not write documents, but if you mean who validates the source linking - no one. There will be many many sources linked for a topic and you will be able to filter it by popularity, type, media format, author etc. By making comparisons between sources easy, learners will be able to judge the best while choosing what suits them best.
Now onto the topic of funding and job-matching, it is unfortunately too complicated to explain here in one comment. In short, this is but the first step in a very broad project and we do not use education as the revenue pipeline. Please go to the landing page or check out the documents for more information.

If you mean to say that you want to keep your graphs in a GitHub repo, you CAN. You can export it anytime (you don't even have to save it to our database either, we firmly believe in data ownership) and save it on github. However there isn't a native solution as of yet. Even better, you can host it in your computer with simple docker setup and that gives you full control of privacy.
Also currently, our nodes only store links to documents, but do not store documents themselves. We have plans to implement it in the future of course.
We have "AI-assistance" inside the workspace which simply suggests new nodes based on your current setup. It sends in exactly the data you want it to. And it is completely optional. If you do not wish to use it, simply ignore the button. Read our privacy policy (linked in our website) to know more about it.
Ah this is very unfortunate to hear. The only thing more disconcerting to realise than having a name copyrighted by someone else, is having it labelled to someone ideologically opposite to you. If it makes you feel better, we are hardcore leftist. The whole brotherhood principle is based on anarchist principle.
I am 20, but yes I definitely am more closely aligned to the old down-to-earth movements, rather than modern keyboard warriors. Personally I've been a huge history nerd, and I like mostly old school grandiose aesthetics. But you are right, I'm not very good at PR as you can tell. The problem is that the team is too small, and there really isn't anyone better rn. However, I will keep it in mind, and look for people who can communicate better. Thank you for your suggestion!
It's simply a project with a mission. Underneath it has different interlocking elements. The core of it lies in the Skill Graph, there's a web app we made for the building of them. You can create your own, build on top of someone else's graph, save it on the database and export it to keep local copies etc.
I admit that I could have been more explicit and comprehensive on the political issues, but it was already too long. But I think we agree on the overall premise. LLMs are a neutral weapon (as all weapons are) but the current landscape of corporatist acquisition of this quite powerful weaponry is a severe disadvantage to the disenfranchised, even at a (as you rightfully noted) geopolitical level, with the colonisation and exploitation of the global South.
But my point was that, the only viable response to this, is to seize the weapons, not to flee the battlefield. The criticism of AI usage because its coopts the enemy, is as naive as "you hate capitalism, but still use things made in capitalism".
While I appreciate your opinion, we do NOT intend to follow on the corporate footsteps of showing professionalism with formal uniformity at the expense of personal expression. When a rocket scientist can be openly "furry", when a researcher can be pink-haired, we can not let ourselves be limited to tasteless formal names. The names are edgy because we are. The project is professional because we are. If those two things cannot coexist for you, then you, my friend, are stuck in the old world.
