Yeah it is pretty interesting. Im thinking of buying a pixel just so I can install one of the more privacy based ROMs. Right now im using an Xperia and ive installed FOSS wherever I can.
And this is the main reason I like Google phones. I think their phones are the most anti Google phones (if you know how to do that). Its so much easier to de-Google a Google phone than it is any other phone. I wish Apple were more like that. Hardware is great but its the fact I cant sideload (officially) apps and install FOSS.
I just recently started using Startpage. The results to me so far seem pretty good but im in a country where I speak the language. And I like that it doesn't save my searches. For that I use DDG.
I think that's whats great about here. I feel like there's always something to add. Whereas with other socials you never know what you are gonna get in reply or whatever.
I'm enjoying it so far. Still getting my feet wet and trying to get more comfortable with posting regularly. Reddit made it kinda hard to do so in some subs so this is new to me.
I'm pretty new here myself. I've already started to migrate myself off of Reddit completely and start engaging here more. So far I have to say that I'm loving this community as well. Definitely seems to be more inviting here. At least I can post right away without having to have a certain amount of karma or whatever. This is kinda refreshing!
Haha same! I think it looks and sounds awesome too so far. But I can't figure out how to bookmark either.
Ive recently started using JTX board...it symcs with Nextcloud and DavX5. It has a To-Do list as well.
