Why is so much of memes nowadays just people claiming to be better then everyone else? I had assumed the trek fans were less of snobs than this. Not only does this insult fellow trek fans but metal fans in the process. If this community is the only thing holding lemmy togther, i guess i don't need to be on the internet anymore.
I've heard you have to think like a criminal to catch one, but i have not heard let a criminal run your goverment to stop crime. but it really makes sense if you don't think about it, making nothing illegal would mean no more crime.
Anybody else make the bed right before sleeping in it? I make my bed everyday, but only immediately before turning my lights off and going to sleep. My bed in unmade most of the time.
obviously made by someone who hasn't read the first page of the bible (like most). 1 huge point missing, god created earth not the universe, and other gods exist in the bible but are never talked about. this information is within the first couple pages of the bible. some translations can also make this harder to understand.
Paper towel under breads/wraps in the microwave is how I do the same thing. The trick is allowing air flow on all sides, otherwise moisture gets stuck while trying to exit the food making it soggy.
I grew up with mormons and it is very obvious the poster doesn't understand what they talking about, much like religious people tend not to understand non-binary people. I am lucky my family believes people need to find god on their own, and sure they made it clear they didn't like some things, but never tried to stop me from being myself. So please don't make the same mistakes they do by ridiculing people about things you don't understand, it ruins progress even if it is just a joke.
