I have experienced the trimmer nicks as well, maybe a shaver would be better than a trimmer.
But i just use a razor now, either a multi-blade men’s razor or women’s body hair razors.
Also i use conditioner instead of shaving foam, works just as well and easier to see what I’m doing.
