That's a false argument your are making here.

First : it's a TTRPG group. You can't have TTRPG without world building, story goals, etc.
Second : Pong is not a TTRPG. AFAIK.
Third : In case you don't know, people who tend to say "no politics in my gaming" (like gamergaters) actually do a very political statement as for them "being black" or "being gay" or "being a woman" etc. is often seen as "politics in [their] gaming".

Sure, you can try to argue with the words, but it's not just words, they exists in a context and the context is that it's a fascist dog whistle.

I just use “cis” to mean that your gender matches your sex.

And it's not what it means. Gender has nothing to do with sex.

And when I talked about AMAB/AFAB (if it's why bother you from my previous comment), it was to specify that there is multiple way to come out as trans (by surgery, hormones or just social) to amplify the fact that the state of the genitals/body as nothing to do with it. It just may or may not, but it's not a requisite.

It's not whatever the society say : trans only have sense if you have a gendered society. That's what "social construct" means, this is also why it don't apply to all cultures.

A fluid identity might not be "trans" in a society when there is no question of gender, but you won't call that being "genderfluid", as having a "locked" gender may seems weird to them. Maybe they won't even have a word for it. But it's still won't be cis, either.

And elven culture here is binary gendered, hence the changes Corellon do.

I see what you try to do, but again : gender has nothing to do with your genitals/body.
Gender is a social construct and thus, it's difficult to say "always", that's why there was terms like AMAB/AFAB in the first place : you are not born with a gender, you have been assigned with one to begin with. Hence the change. Trans is not just about your body, but also about how everyone and the society percieve you (that's why you have multiple type of coming out).
And fluidity is a constant change, not a gender. There is nothing cisgender about changing gender, by definition.

Nope, cis mean you did not changed your gender, it has nothing to do with your genitals. Corellon change gender quite a lot.

Ok, so a thin layer of adamantium is an ideal coin, but not a tiny disk of metallic alloy engraved with pictures, texts and values ! 📝

PF2 is only better if you want tactical combat and lots of options to create builds. Sorry to inform you that's it's not what all tables want, so no, "All D&D groups" does not have to consider PF2.
It's the case in mine (and we play a lot of differents ttrpgs). PF2 is just too much, and is in the same boat as Shadowrun : ain't nobody got time for that.

(also, as 5e is CC-BY now, it is not "own" by anyone (only the D&D brand is), wich is not the case with the ORC licence and Paizo)

Maybe the duid can team up with a lvl 20 wizard that will open a Gate with his 9 lvl spell slot from the bottom of the ocean.
Dunno how to do the math, but a 20 feet diameter sink in the ocean opened in the sky of another plan for one minute may be faster (in spell slot economy) than lvl 9 destroy water.

I'll add that every games does not suit to everyone. So, games that might please D&D players that I like (and that nobody already talked about in this thread):

- Cryptomancer: It's D&D for nerds, with a simpler system (or a sort of inverted Shadowrun). Like, imagine D&D but magic works like infosec. Yeap, that's it.

- Monster of the Week: A PbtA game to emulate supernatural horror TV shows and it's really easy to make it work in a fantasy setting. It might feel more like a Witcher game than a D&D game, tho (you investigate after a supernatural monster, track them to get them down). In any case, the PbtA family is rich and if players are curious of other systems, it's probably one of the easiest PbtA to try when you come from D&D : it's really easy to setup (30min to make a party at the beginning of the session, session 0 included), it's one-shot oriented and it has (I think) the more D&D-esques combat mechanics if all PbtAs.

- Outgunned: It's a very cool game with gambling mechanics which want to emulate action movies. It's easy to do Heroic Fantasy with it as "classes" are just "roles" and "tropes" and there is already some actions flicks (flavor-oriented optional rules) to play wuxia, swashbuckling and sword & sorcery. Also, it has the best mechanics for chases I ever seen and you may want to borrow that in you D&D sessions. Even for one session, it's worth playing (and there is two free kickstart sets with rules, premade characters and a scenario to try it !)
