What is KD doing? No box out and then he just gave the ball away?

So glad you posted this. I heard a friend talk about it today, in the past i'd always go to Reddit to see highlights. I thought I'd check here first before googling and I found it! Hope this keeps up throughout the season so this community will actually grow.

Agreed, that's why I haven't tried it yet. When I used to run 70-80 mile weeks I'd go through shoes regularly enough that this might've made sense. Now that I'm significantly less than that I can hang on to shoes for a bit longer

Eh, at least in my experience, interest in most normal mortgages ends up less than the standard deduction so it can't be claimed. It was a change Trump made to the tax code I think. I don't understand enough about it to know if it affects me negatively or not. I know it's better for me to claim the standard deduction instead of itemizing my deductions. This means I can't claim interest paid (which is bad), but the standard deduction is higher than it was before, so I think I'm still claiming more money as untaxable (which is good, I think?).

Maybe someone with more knowledge than me can chip in.

Ugh, I agree that this location is terrible, but it's still better than 2nd/3rd. Literally standing on top of a highway wasn't enjoyable at all and I've skipped the last 2 years because of it. Definitely should go back to fountain square, or maybe the Dora district at the banks and spill into Smale park? Just get it away from the highway please!

I can't remember, was The Jungle written in 1904 or 1980? Because this storyline seems really familiar.

I don't thing it's location specific. It's more like a pie chart where it's grouping the similar land typess together and then arbitrarily placing them on the US map.

Man, that doesn't resonate with me at all. I don't think there is any point to living other than just enjoying your time here. Sure, work when necessary to be able to afford the necessities, develop some skills to be able to afford a few luxuries, but honestly just do things that make you happy. Self-improvement as a reason to live seems awful. If you're unable to improve, are you a failure? If you're already happy as you are, should you just end it?

Dreamingspanish.com has been great at helping my vocabulary. Just watching videos 30-60 minutes a day, at my level of comprehension really took the stress out of memorization and has allowed my brain to pick up on common phrases and different ways to talk around things I don't know wxact words for. There are a ton of free videos at super beginner, beginner, and intermediate levels. I watched a 20 part complete history of Spain at the intermediate level and then immediately subscribed to his channel because I could tell pretty quickly how good it was for me. I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot if you want to boost listening skills and expanding vocab.

I commented above but wanted to reply directly to you.

I give a flower to Ana = doy una flor a Ana

Replace Ana with a pronoun (le - inderect objects are non gendered): I give her a flower = le doy una flor

Replace flor with a pronoun (la - direct objects are gendered): I give it to Ana = La doy a Ana

Replace both: I give her it = Le la doy

It would be Le las mando (I send them (to) him). The pronouns always go before the verb.

Le is the indirect pronoun. So, to him, for him, with him, etc. This almost always refers to a person/pet/etc. It it the thing the verb is happening to.

Lo(s)/la(s) is the direct object. It's the target of the verb (I send what? I send notes = las mando). These can be things or people. (I called him = lo llamé).
