Did you consider choosing another instance? mastodon.social is a bit too big, so it's a good idea to take a look at other instances. I've never seen an instance that was restricted in this way.
I think several people already tried that and it turned out to be even more dangerous than driving on the left, so the idea was abandoned. @RedSnt@Wulri
Well, I suppose they have to permit third party payment processors on their network or they'd face regulatory trouble. Here in EUrope, card interchange fees are regulated.
But, in case you haven't heard about this, Visa has a subsidiary called “Cybersource” which offers payment processing for all mayor credit cards. So it's not like Visa wasn't trying to get into payment processing as well. @hendrik@vga
Well, actually Tesla has a subsidiary which is a Swedish company. But the only shareholder of that company is probably the US parent. https://www.bolagsfakta.se/5569314098-TM/_Sweden/_AB
TIL that Tesla Sverige shares its business address with Techem AB. I didn't know that Techem is international. Thought they only existed here in Germany.
Schwarz Gruppe also owns Kaufland which RESUMED selling the Compact Magazine (a Nazi publication!) after enforcement of the ban was suspended because Compact decided to challenge its own ban in court. @Saleh@Suoko
The mic switch could be implemented as a combined accept call, record and enable mic button.
So you would only have to hit one button to accept a call and activate the mic.
TIL that there is a difference between a machine gun (das Maschinengewehr) and a submachine gun (die Maschinenpistole). Hamburg port security forces demanded the latter.

Conductor is out his mind. If your train is cancelled, you have any right to use another train. Where is the problem?
@Cherry @snowflocke
Yes, and for good reason. If your food chain forms a circle, you're at risk of getting BSE.
@Lokoschade @Lembot_0004
Right, but they take question by #IPv4 only because they're on one of those strange #ipv4only instances. WTF?
@WhiteHotaru @General_Effort #ipv4 #ipv6
Well, Swasticars don't believe in trains.

I'm curious. Did this change in policy coincide with an increase in richtingsbezwaar filings?
@WaterSword @MrScottyTay
It's complicated.
@TriflingToad @Vittelius
Not correct. Eurostar may be state-owned, but they're still a Limited company, so they can file for bankruptcy.
Actually, the company which operates the Eurotunnel went bankrupt at least 3 times IIRC.

What do you mean by “AF”?

The US sanctioned the Russians? This sounds like a good idea, but it still confuses me. I thought Trump was in bed with Putin?
@federalreverse @Buffalox
This means that we are at war with Russia.
Still, we should try to avoid escalating the situation.
