The core files are read-only. You can layer new system applications, but it's not as easy as just installing a package. Most things are handled via Flatpaks. So the base is solid and you can't do much to really ruin the stability.

Teenagers are still children. They don't have developed brains. Also take into account that teenagers are growing up more slowly than they did in the past. It is not disingenuous to put them together in the same statistic.

You are missing out on all the state parks, beaches, lakes, rivers, mountains, snow, etc. We have it all. Every type of environment is only a few hours for me to get there.

Is it better for someone to download it, see it, and uninstall it immediately? I'm not sure how they are tracking metrics or if they are at all.
