@CiotBSD everything i use (cwm,xterm,firefox) works. I put some load on it with llama.cpp and qwen, everything stable. Things that dont work: mediatek wifi chipset, Webcam, fingerprint, Bluetooth ... ?
The virt-manager way works. Also working is dd an installed OpenBSD image (GPT and uefi) from another system to framework nvme. I created an image in a chroot on my other openbsd box.
I managed to run OpenBSD 7.9 on my framework laptop 13 ryzen 300, and 840m with 32gb ram. Installer did not work. It always rebootet just before the interactive part started.
To get openbsd working I did:
download Ubuntu
sudo apt install virt-manager
install an openbsd VM with its disk being the framework nvme
@CiotBSD yes fuguita works.

Hi there, this is my first post here 🖐.

reboot and boot into openbsd
Things seem to work 💪
