Others have covered various points with better words than I can, so I'm going to share a website that is covering mobile phone games releases. not affiliated in any way
Is was developed and maintained by a youtuber covering mobile games. Although he haven't uploaded to youtube in a year. And I don't usually check the site so it could be outdated.
And I see mobile ports of pc games are taking more care in translating physical controls to touch screen controls. Still not the rule and definitely the exception, but it is out there. Latest one I remember off the top of my head is balatro and ballxpit.
I want to promote !sbcgaming@lemmy.ml and !sbcgaming@retrolemmy.com because they need help with just being alive lol
I've thought of stealing some content from the sbcgaming sub and transpose it here with some of my thoughts but I don't have any of the boutique consoles so I don't think I can last
Have thought about doing something similar too in a few other comms that exists here in the threadiverse but far eclipsed by their counterpart in reddit. But I'm too lazy
I remember this day. Was a wee lad. We were on vacation. The TV was on and apparently it was the news. I don't remember if it's breaking news but it might not be, since we're 12 ish hours different time zones, and I remember seeing it at day time.
Well, back then I thought it was a movie...
And the eerie part was that my dad had just gotten back home from a business trip there just a few days before.
IIRC they said that SABR is slowly being rolled out and DASH phased out. instead of waiting they decided to tackle this head on. I'm 50/50 having no problems for a few videos then getting stuck in this trap.
I remember they have a sister sub that breaks out of the role playing that can give input. maybe I am misremembering though.
but yes I agree, the rules for nosleep is no breaking the fourth wall.

It's already happening. Check out gamenative and winlator. Russ also have covered this various times
And with Valve releasing the Steam Frame and their Lepton and FEX compatibility tools, I hope it's going to supercharge adoption

I used to read /r/nosleep and listen to the podcast a lot around 2015 - 2019. Somehow by the end I just don't like them. I can't put a finger why.
I wonder if they're battling AI slop posts a lot nowadays.
Forgot to add that I don't want to deal with building a community 😅
Yeah I'm part of the chicken and egg problem we have here but that's just super hard work for me
Wow, P3R, P4G and P5R
even using ytdlnis, sometimes it will fail to download. I think it's independent of downloading and streaming
I see. maybe I'm too much of an urban boy as I only have seen owls in aviaries and zoos.
The devs are aware of this

I used to be so afraid of the barn owl. it's not even in my part of the world, I think
I think it's because of one episode of the ghostbusters cartoon lol
maybe that why he big mad
Highly likely
big chungus is real
It's community as weird and niche like that that's hard to find or start and maintain on the threadiverse¹ that I miss from reddit.
