moved to jellyfin after plex was an absolute nightmare to setup on linux.
jellyfin is just so easy to use and like you said, just works
on windows i used mp3tag, and on linux i use puddletag
everyone listening to audio on a modern phone will be using bluetooth anyway. lossless is jist a money grab.
even my local flac files are indistinguishable from standard quality streamed media over bluetooth

would have liked to play this, but its just too much to jump into now. would have been nice if it was functional from the get go.
