@JimsPhotos I like it sharp though. At least when it’s a photo were I’m trying to see the birds features. Maybe this is due to my own vision being blurry so if the photo is also blurry it gets double-blurred? 😅

Anyway I think the variety among treesparrows are really interesting!

@JimsPhotos Saw som tree sparrows today and were reminded of your photo.
This is not super sharp but maybe good enough for a comparision. Beak is definitely lighter and it has a yellow base.

A tree sparrow sitting in the grass, it has a black-streaked brown back, brown head and a white cheek with a dark cheek spot, the beak is grey with a yellow base.

@JimsPhotos@ohai.social Interesting! Tree sparrows around where I live have a beak that’s more on the gray side. But this looks black to me.
And now I need to photograph one around here so I can do a proper comparison.

@JimsPhotos@ohai.social Got it!
It does have a fun sound. I also kind of like that the drumming sounds like it needs a bit more practice.

Here we have two different green ones. Green woodpecker and Grey-headed woodpecker. Then we have the Black woodpecker and four different kinds of ”white and black” woodpecker.
