In addition to VirtualBox being a fucking awful piece of software, Oracle is the absolute antithesis of Linux - anti-user, anti-freedom. Why would you put that closed-source, privacy-trampling, proprietary bullshit on your pristine Linux install? . Use KVM virtualization instead, or even a more modern docker-ish like solution.
Artix is great if you don't mind Arch. Devuan is great if you like lightweight Debian (server install). MXLinux is nice if you want Debian with a usability/UI focus.
As for security focused, I don't know what that means. A machine is either secure or it's not. Chuck SELinux on there if it helps you sleep at night.
