"Somehow" as if it's some great mystery and not because the 1% are siphoning off a bigger and bigger portion of the world's wealth. All to use for their own amusement while recklessly destroying the planet and sabotaging any attempts to do anything about it.
Heathen as far as I know means people of the heath, which is the shrubland habitat outside of villages with poor acidic soil and low woody brush. Basically the people who were kicked out of the good fertile farmland and forced to live outside of society.
Also if it's high and hilly heath becomes moors, so your condescending teenage fling very smugly gave you the exact opposite of a correct definition because heaths are always lowlands.
In my area there are two types of rental properties available.
Nicer newer apartment complexes that are corporate owned that have overly restrictive lease agreement and have rents that are two to three times what a mortgage would cost on a house of similar square footage, if any were available which of course there aren't. And the icing on the cake is most of them are owned by a single holding company which puts most of its profits into buying property and building new complexes to keep its tax rates down.
Older run down apartments with chipping paint, creaky floors and drafty windows that used to be single family homes and have now been split into two to four rental units. Oftentimes the owner of the property lives in one of the units and their only source of income is the renters of the other units. Repairs happen only if absolutely necessary and improvements are out of the question because that cuts into their living expenses.
Of the two I think the corporations are more insidious and deserve more of the ire that seems to go towards private landlords. But that being said both business models are clearly problematic and exploitative and it doesn't take a degree in economics to see that comparing them to small businesses that pass some of their startup costs onto their customers is a false equivalency and a bad faith argument.
People are probably right to be wary of the food at Jim-Bob's corner truck stop, but the big chain gas stations probably have stricter health standards than most high class restaurants. Corporate isn't going to let a bad weenie turn into a lawsuit or a news scandal.
With a Lamborghini I can almost understand it because they're engineered for weight distribution, space saving, etc. Why my mother in law's Jeep Compass has exactly the same procedure, including the feeling around blindly, I couldn't tell you.
I can relate to ¯\_( ಠ_ಠ )_/¯. Pissed off at everything, don't know what to do about any of it. Seems a pretty appropriate response to things these days.
Who they really need to find is a Comp Ackman. Comics wolvie is supposed to be something like 5'3", Hugh is over 6' iirc.

That explains it. No direct water route. The Erie canal hadn't been dug yet.

Or one of like three examples that have actually been preserved for 30,000 years
Clearly anyone who claims not to know that's a peach piss and fart cake is just being obtuse

You don't know the recipe for 1 day blinding soup? How are you supposed to discipline children without that knowledge?

That only affects the gays. As long as you only have intercourse with your wife and your secretary like a god fearing American you'll be fine.
