@Capitanmaroon Or in one case the recycle bin; I've been Dissatisfied with the watering cans we have, and my wife's drinking lots of lemonade that comes in gallon jugs, so I asked her to save jugs for me and now I have a gallon watering can each for the porch and the garage. Will probably try to replace yearly so the plastic leeching doesn't get too crazy.
Plant based diet, because growing crops and eating them is way more efficient (around 10x on a per calorie basis) than growing crops, feeding them to animals and eating the animals or their eggs/milk. Although the real reason I started down that path was first developing an appreciation for shelf stable vegan ingredients while I had an untrustworthy refrigerator, and then a pet rat dying in my arms and thinning the veil for me where bodies are concerned.
Trying to garden but so far we're just helping the local rabbits develop a more refined palette XD so I pivoted to removing the invasive bamboo as the main project for the rest of the summer. Hoping to put in some native bushes to help hold the hillside together with the bamboo gone, and then grow flowers so my wife and I can give each other flowers that haven't been shipped long distances.
Filling more of my "very specific thing" situations from used or no longer in production stuff on ebay, and less specific things from thrifting.
