And I mean that speech in a vacuum and not looking at rhetoric before is fine. Trump had the EXACT stuff about affordability, tax cuts, etc and look where Trump is now, the whole "affordability is a hoax." He flips on a dime very Trump like and essentially a right populist politician. Not saying Carney is better on affordability and all but with PPs historical comments he is very Trump like.. But Poilievre is far more right with things that no centered politician be it right or left will touch. There is a reason why you don't hear these type of things anymore now that he's not running and post trump cause that's what got him into hot water. Now acting as if his old statements and policies are no longer valid and that any conservative policies are somehow unique to him. Again there is a reason there were a decent number of floor crossers. And like wise some more liberal MPs that left the liberal party as well.
His international ties have been generally good. PP is too trump lite to have done any of that. Carney is a traditional conservative which is why we saw floor crossers and many conservative policies. PP is too far right for most Canadians who generally speaking are centre right/left.

Now tell me as a layman making the millionth Ghibli "art" it does two things. Normalize and dilute the original and then commodify and create extremely stringent rules on sourcing without AI. Basically like how deepfakes and the likes are, which is definitely another VERY inexcusable and utterly garbage side effect. And for high visibility stuff like Ghibli, at least you know what's up but the silent and even more painful side is the damage done on the smaller scale artists as AI "artists" flood the market without a care to make a quick buck. Collages, Photoshop and the likes exist for those less artistically gifted (I can't draw either btw) that still left a semblance of human effort but even that is now gone.
So no it doesn't matter the materialistic nature (graphite vs digital), it is the human side of it, the intent. If you tell me that that's not what I consider lazy or more kindly, opportunistic and only that then tell me what's been good so far. For every 1 break through in health or astronomy for the greater good, there are 10x or more number of societal issues that crop up due to it as we continue to feel the pain with no solution in sight.

From the perspective of art, explain to me how it can start as good from the get go or a benefit that's not just I can be lazy? It's built on theft of countless artists let alone the overall waste it produces.
People are starting to realize and the polls show since PP's numbers are lowering. As long as who ever takes over the liberals is good cause I'm afraid Trudeau has done too much damage.

When you are dealing with an individual that is playing by different rules then the rest of the country it's clear who is not respectful.
