I visited and saw ganja growing everywhere. It's all hemp strains, but it's the wild type hemp that Hindu Kush was bred from. Toss enough ditch weed on a fire and the smoke will get you high. People realized that it was the weed doing it, and Herodotus described the Scythians as "burning an herb on the fire that makes them drunk as wine does the Greeks" and when I read about that it all clicked for me. I'm pretty sure OP is aware of this but the theoretical limit of THC production in a flower is about 30% by weight. Thing is, the reported number in California is most often the percentage of the cannabinoids in the sample that is THC, not the cannabinoids by weight. That's one reason I tell people the numbers are meaningless and that you need to be looking for terps you like/flavors and highs you enjoy rather than the numbers
Interesting way to vape flower. Seems like you'd want something smooth like a shower head percolator and you'd want the joint to be on top of the percolation chamber. I recommend adding a "drop down" glass adapter so that any oil produced by the condensed vapor drips down into it and can be easily cleaned out, and so that you can keep heat off the main glass joint, because things like the flowerpot or a concentrate e nail can snap glass joints if there's too much thermal shock/it gets seized onto the joint by heat shrinkage. It's happened to me too many times unfortunately. Always get something cheap you're not willing to lose to put your enail or flowerpot on, IMO. Otherwise I would say a coarse fluffy flower grind would probably work best with this. cheers and happy vaping
