FOSS is a standardized term. As the Free Software Foundation defines it:
Free and open-source software (FOSS) is software available under a license that gives users the right to use, share, modify, and distribute the software – modified or not – to everyone and provides the means to exercise those rights using the software's source code.
You are not granted right to modify or distribute Bitwarden. You can inspect and use that to build your own. That is what Vaultwarden does.
I figured you have to layer the browser on the system. The KeePassXC can stay flatpak. That's how it worked for me.

I can see both sides. Smarter people would make the pie bigger. But a flat %increase would make the absolute intelligence gap even wider, which is what I think is the more relevant metric. I grew up wanting to be a YouTuber, and now work as a professor somewhere in East Asia with deep Confucian influence. The teacher-student dynamics here is truly shit.

That means you want one browser to be not flatpak, in most distros the default is Firefox, but it's up to you to change.

In terms of politics, yes. But we are better in almost every other aspect.
Never support a monopoly. Enshitification always follows from monopoly power, not the lack thereof.
I don't deny that YouTube has its great merits, but bundling ads with content is not one of them. Especially not pop-up ads.
Comparing numbers is not whataboutism. That's literally why numbers exist in the first place, to compare and count.
