This happened about 7 years ago, but due to the poor performance of the simulator and the size of the simulation, the deletion process will take about another 15 years.

Yeah I can see why. My response wasn't intended as directly as it is written and it is difficult to put into a short statement but let me try:

I see it often that a complete non-topic for one person is mis-interpreted as a lack of interest by another. Maybe some communication is missing.

My partner is very poor with texting/calling back. IN the beginning I used to interpret it, maybe as you have here, as a lack of interest. So, we spoke about it and it was made clear to me that this person just does not like using their phone as a main means of communication, and the interest was in-fact there.

Yes, but the wishes are interpreted by an LLM and it is trained only on data relating to engines overheating.

No, users were offered 2 (I think?) free games as compensation for the PS3 data breach.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_PlayStation_Network_outage

On May 16, 2011, Sony announced that two PlayStation 3 games and two PSP games would be offered for free from lists of five and four,† respectively.[75][76] The games available varied by region[75][76] and were only available in countries which had access to the PlayStation Store prior to the outage.[76]

Same!

And yeah, getting 2 free games for compromising all user data, months before they launch PSN plus with rotating free games... Felt odd...

Congratulations! You triggered that internal vomit-laughy feeling I get on reallllllly borderline jokes :)

I see 2 different, but related topics being mixed up in the comments a little.

This is an extension of a measure which has been in place since 2021. This is not the new legislation that was proposed earlier this year and late last year.

I do not believe this is a good thing at all! But we should all be clear what the discussion is.

The first iteration of Chat Control, commonly dubbed "Chat Control 1.0", was introduced as a temporary measure in 2021. It was ultimately ended on 26 March 2026, when a vote to reject its extension passed by one vote. The next iteration of Chat Control, commonly dubbed "Chat Control 2.0", is still under discussion.

You see these pop up on antique trading sites a lot. Sometimes in non-English speaking areas, they list them under their old trade name of "jolly n* bank". Many of them also have the n word in capital letters across the figure.

The worst part, they sell...
