This is such of a niche of a niche of a niche of a niche of a problem, I can't even. All this language debate stuff was fine in 2015 when things were good. Now it's 2026 and we're having the absolute worst people running every country it seems. We have to focus on big things like right to repair, right to privacy, right to your data. Not debating a usage of a single space "trans" and "woman"
I've been a trans rights supporter my whole life. Trans rights = humans rights. But now I'm being accused of using dog whistles because I don't follow the latest terminally online trends from extwitter/bsky on how to properly phrase things? You need to pick better battles, my man,
Children don't really want to live with their parents. I live in Thailand, many people here are poor and live with their families for a much longer time. Well, that leads to things that if you're dating a girl, she'll try to move in with you in like 1 month of dating to escape her family (I personally wouldn't move in with someone until like a year at least).
In these families, the kids are used as "retirement" and have to send money to their parents every month (I know a few girls that make like 15000 baht a month and give 50% of that to their parents that do nothing).
The "more communal" living they have in non-wesern countries doesn't come from a good quality of life. I'd say the fact that in the west children move out quickly is a sign of a much much better quality of life in the country on average.
The post is incorrect to begin with. I don't know the source of the photo, but in Thailand, the service is based on a lottery for men. You may easily never roll it. There are many thai students (girls too) that do military training during their high school years on some days and don't have to serve later. Also, this transitioning strategy will work in most countries in the world as most of them don't allow transwomen.
While I'm not a fan of Big tech, but this surely is nonsense. Are they saying there are more vibrations than, say, living in New York? Near those train lines and billions of cars (and there are probably data centers there too).
In which way is it untrusted? If you use CachyOS, you use their binaries, that could contain anything at all inside of them. Do you draw the line at a shelll script you can read yourself?
While I have no love for a lot of modern AAA devs, Threat Interactive is not an authority on whatever he preaches. No games shipped, only some UE5 snake oil config files. No proof of any experience or credibility, just bashing. I wouldn't watch that stuff or bring it up as some sort of authority on 3D graphics.
That one is easily rebutted by "Well, we're looking for pedos. Won't you think of the children? I bet you're one of the pedos, aren't you?". And it, sadly, works on people.
Not at all how it works. I live in Thailand on a work visa, but you can only get those for a very short job list (like a teacher). People do border and visa runs every few months but that’s tiring and you can be denied entry randomly, and obviously you can’t have a job in Thailand with that. There’s a DTV visa you can get if you can prove a remote job and have 500 000 baht in your bank account (that money will always have to be there, you can’t move it out). Other than that there’s a marriage visa and retirement visa (800k in a bank account at all times).
That's some suckless level cope. What's correct is the way that creates the least friction for the end users. Who really cares about some programming purity aspect?

I don't really see how GNOME is any more keyboard focused than, say, KDE. If anything, other DEs give you much more freedom for a keyboard workflow.
You’re just supposed to use flatpak or stuff like distrobox/toolbx. No reboots necessary.
Why though?

You need 1.21 gigawatts to go one way, so you won’t be able to come back

I’ve tried other search engines any times. Despite the worsening google search somehow is still much better than alternatives.
I don’t get it. How do the children get bank accounts to buy those robux? It’s really more of a parent’s responsibility.
Ubisoft is based now?
Just install Bazzite, I think that's basically SteamOS.
I think I'm still switching to keepassxc, but I'll still recommend bitwarden to normal people (and my bitwarden account is paid til 2027 anyway, lol)

Windows way is superior, in my opinion. I don't think there's a need for File.txt and fILE.txt
