I have worked on a code line SCADA system for N&W Railroad that used DC signals, some of them I were told were carried along fencing wires. The field stations where they terminated had a wall covered in electromagnetic relays maybe 12" by 18" in size, and REALLY loud.
There are so many features of modern applications and platforms that I have to wonder why anybody would have thought it was a good idea, this is just one of them. Sharing your contacts shouldn't even be an option. As somebody else in this thread put it, it's not your data.

I was hoping you were going to say "You must have remembered it from Google Plus" or "It was this other tower at this other location" or "Turns out I actually have 34 photographs of this tower taken over a period of 17 years".
