Yeah of course. Let's just not burn it all down to start over. Powerful men raping kids is not new. We have gotten better at seeing it when it happens. Next we have to get better at holding them accountable.

The fact that you are able to see and hear the complaints means more than you realize. The verdict is not "out." It is a better system than anything that has existed before it, which has always been authoritarian. And it is far from perfect and there will of course be better systems in the future.

That's not THE problem with liberal democracy. There are plenty of others. But it's still the best system that humans have come up with.

It is true. It's not scientific; it's logical. Women are more likely to be expected to do it whether they really care or not. Men who do it are facing stigma so they must be particularly motivated or they wouldn't.

My lungs are burning. Here in Phoenix the temperature is still 110°F when the sun goes down at 8pm. I gotta run for my mental health so in 110 we go. Today I finished my water bottle on the walk from my apartment to the start of the trail.
