My car is just shy of 2 years old. I clearly know more about my car than you as I drive it every day and I hang out on the Mach-E forums so I know what’s going on daily in the news. I don’t really care about Fords recalls as a whole as vast majority are for ICE vehicles and have nothing to do with their EVs. My car has had 2 recalls since I’ve owned it and 1 of them was an OTA update (that did brick the car that I complained about originally).

Also, I’m very well aware of the HVJB issue and once again, it primarily affected GT models only. I didn’t say only GT models, and it’s also non-existent these days. The axle issue is affecting the first few years and they have issued a recall to address it. For Ford’s first real attempt at an EV, they’ve done a fantastic job. The car has not been a real problem and the big issues have been addressed. There is a guy who is now at 300k miles i believe and the battery has shown minimal degradation with minimal maintenance performed.
I agree but I know Ford ain’t gonna cover shit once my warranty is up (which is soon). The only way would be to fight in court which isn’t worth the time or money. So I just turned off updates. It’s not like they are adding cool features ever.

It sounds like an Android/Google issue. The website told me that it could not read my gyroscope because I’m on iOS and Apple has not allowed websites to read it since 2019.

This community always acts surprised when the world uses these devices like they are idiots for using them. “Just setup this open source thing instead” is always thrown around as if it’s something you just plug in and use. My comment is explaining why the world doesn’t use them. And your comment is a perfect example because you use so many words and acronyms most people wouldn’t understand nor care to understand. Jesus, get offended a little? I’m just stating that setting up all the things you said is not feasible for the general population and that is why Ring is so popular. Vast majority of people will trade privacy and cost for convenience all day long. I’m not making up a single thing. I don’t know one person in real life that would know any of the shit you said, let alone set it all up by themselves to save a few bucks. That’s why they pay more for Ring. It’s easy and just works.
You just lost 95% of people with those words. Ring and other cameras are popular because they are simple for the general population to setup and use, not because they are the cheapest. This place is such a bubble of people who think the entire world thinks just like them.
Yeah, maybe I was a bit harsh. I will admit, I have not tried FreeCAD recently but when I did use it I thought it was terrible. I use Creo for my job but personally like SolidWorks and Fusion for my personal use. FreeCAD just frustrated the hell out of me. I definitely commend the developers for creating a FOSS CAD software though.
If the podcast is on YouTube you can use Pinchflat to remove ads (assuming it’s been mapped on SponsorBlock). I’ve had hit and miss results but some being ad-free is better than none.

I’m willing to bet the people there protesting did in fact not vote for it. There were 140k people who did not vote for Trump in Alaska. The electoral college is a joke and makes people believe that everyone in any given state must agree with where the points went.

Alibre is the only perpetual affordable license CAD software I’m aware of unless you want to use student/hobbyist versions of other software.
