These people are insanely stupid if they think any corporation is affected to a degree they would be willing to change their stance on a topic. At best this would be a tiny blip that goes to nothing long term. But what does happen, is the life of working class people on that particular day becomes worse, and ambulances have more traffic to deal with. Do. Not. Block. Traffic. If you want to make a change you make it with votes, that’s what awareness is for.
In the new era where every search engine is garbage because of all the search term bait websites with no real content, at least DuckDuckGo still respects you as a person
Imagine if peoples advice was just “oh you’re 21? Life’s over, too late for a career change or self improvement. You’re finished”. Be wary of anyone who thinks they have it all figured out about the “correct” way to live.
Yeah they could have literally just asked any gamer. Most people I know with vr headsets don’t use them, they’re currently an expensive gimmick to play beatsaber on occasion until you get motion sick.
Maybe it’s just because I wasn’t following it super closely before release, but what promises did they even make that fell through? I only ask because I think there’s also a Reddit effect of people hyping themselves up about a game to the point where the final product can’t ever live up to expectations. This is a similar feeling I had to no man’s sky. How many of these promises were just things the community decided were in the game based on speculation from trailers and interview quotes?
This isn’t to say there weren’t problems. The game was obviously buggy and needed another year of development time to fix some issues (fortunately never experienced game breaking bugs like some did). There were perks that obviously weren’t working, and it simply never should have been attempted on old gen consoles. But overall I fell in love with that game I think because I went into it with zero expectations and now I’ve put like a thousand hours in since release.
Yeah not sure why you would do this. At least for me when I go hiking it’s to experience nature while getting exercise. If I wanted to hear annoying music on a speaker I’d go to a gym.
The beauty is there's no right way to live, because we're all going to die one day and you won't be around to care about your achievements or lack thereof. If you want to set those goals and strive for them, go for it if that's what makes you happy. I had a similar crisis at one point that caused me to go back to school and do a bunch of new stuff I had never done. But eventually, I realized it was pointless to stress too much because there's no true value, there's only value to you. For me, that meant spending more time with family while they're here, and studying things that interested me. If you sit around doing nothing but watch movies for years, but every single day you did what made you happy, how could that be a waste? It can only ever feel like a waste when you compare yourself to others and aren't confident in yourself. Even if your values changed over time, and now you want to do stuff you never did, go do it! You didn't waste time before, during that stage of your life you lived how you wanted to.
Events like this are really just a dps check. Most events even on t4 once your build gets going you can kill stuff fast enough to keep them safe. The only time it’s impossible to keep npcs safe imo is when you’re in a dungeon with lots of spiders, because the poison just destroys them while the enemies are already dead regardless of how fast you are.
I’ve still been getting uniques at a similar rate so I think you’re just having bad luck. That being said I’ve only been doing higher tier nightmare dungeons. From what I remember they buffed helltides drop rates from some enemies I think
Pretty much. Sometimes I still pick up everything to sell when I’m lower on gold but a lot of the time when I’m doing pressing stuff where I don’t want to go back and forth to town a ton I’m just picking up ancestrals for categories that I need. Gems too of course
I’ve been enjoying the communities I’ve seen here so not really been using Reddit the same way as before. Due to the blackout I’ve largely gotten over the doom scrolling I would once do cold turkey. I’ve opened the site on google searches when there’s a relevant post to a problem I’m having, but tbh that’s it. Now I’ve been spending time searching for communities here and learning fediverse stuff, and it’s been a lot of fun honestly
I’ve got about 4-6 each of horses, armors, and trophies so far. Most have been random drops. Caldeum steed I think is the one I’ve seen the least frequently. Many people in t4 have spectral charger because I think it drops from legion events or something. My favorite armors I have are probably the lamplighters tack and brigandine barding. My most recent trophy was a dark banner which looks like a flag attached to my horse, so that’s kinda cool.
The decaying steed looks dope, I’d love to use that on a necromancer if I get it!
Do you have advanced tooltips turned on? I would keep any high rolls for generic aspects that can be used across characters. Don’t keep low or medium rolls because you can just use the codex and it isn’t worth the space. Don’t use the high rolls unless it’s on an ancestral piece with decent stats, because unless you have duplicates you’ll probably replace it too quickly to be worth using anything but the codex. Obviously some aren’t in the codex so if you get a decent roll of those and it’s generic then it may be worth keeping duplicates.
As someone with multiple characters already it doesn’t seem worth it to keep class specific gear stored unless it’s for a build that you are specifically going to transition to, or it’s a perfect roll. Mainly store pieces for the build you’re planning for, whatever that is, and keep generic aspects in their own tab. I only store gems that drop at tier 4 (gem, flawless gem, royal gem) because you’ll need a lot of gems eventually but they’re not very important for the early game when leveling alts since tier 1 is so easy. You also shouldn’t be afraid to discard uniques. I’ve found them to be better to sell than salvage because they seem to just give the same legendary crafting materials but they sell for significantly more gold. There are a lot of bad unique that drop frequently and aren’t useful for many (any) builds. Don’t hoard them just because they’re shiny.
At least this is my system, keep what is important to you based on the space you currently have. Although I’m tight on storage I’m making it work.

This is cursed

I agree, seems a waste to make preseason alts. My barb is basically done, probably going to make a rogue for season 1.
