A colab between WWE and Mitchell and Ness straight up stole the design of CM Punk's AEW merch. After the artist called them out they pulled the design, but I don't know how anyone thought they could get away with it.
Bryan Alvarez is saying Ali didn't get hurt from the cross body, it was just some random spot during the match. It is crazy the number of times wrestler's do something crazy like that just fine, then they take a regular bump and their body explodes.
To be fair, I've posted a few Dark Side of the Ring threads too. I usually post them after I watch the episode, I've just been too busy this week to watch it, until now.
It was nice having a fairly positive episode. It almost doesn't feel right for Dark Side to have nice endings, but it is nice to not feel sad after watching it.
That sucks. Hopefully everything is straightened out for you. Any time you don't post a discussion thread I end up triple checking to make sure the show didn't get bumped to a different night and I forgot.
DAZN carries AEW PPVs internationally. I don't think TKO is doing this specifically to fuck with AEW, but I'm sure they won't turn down the opportunity to fuck with them if it comes up. I also don't know how much fucking TKO could do since they only have a minority stake.
It's pretty impressive when people are given a second chance and decide to torpedo it as hard as possible.

I haven't seen any speculation on what spot he got hurt on, and didn't watch the show, but Hotch did hit him with a cross body off the top of the cage though a table.

I don't think OC ever wrestled for Enjoy, but he did fight a robot in Beyond Wreslting.

Fair enough. Even if they currently don't want to renew the deal, a lot can happen in 4 years.
ESPN has denied the report that they're not going renew the deal. Price hike is still going to happen, though.
I think he made his in ring debut earlier this summer, but he doesn't seem to be on Cagematch, so I can't confirm it though.
