on Any suggestions for a good intro into first nations history in Australia? · c/australia · 6 pts · 217d@TeraByteMarx there’s some excellent recent publications on the history since colonisation: for Victoria, the Yoorrook report (https://www.yoorrook.org.au/reports-and-recommendations/reports); for the east coast, Warra Warra Wai (https://www.simonandschuster.com.au/books/Warra-Warra-Wai/Darren-Rix/9781761424021). Both in their own ways crucially important experiments in truth telling, and both eminently readable.
