I've used them for years, but my backups started failing a few weeks ago. It said my account was "under maintenance"
Now, it says my data utilization is 0.0KB. The web interface reports my encryption key is invalid. My Linux client logs in - but it reports all of my backed up hosts are gone. 0.0kb in use. And when I started a fresh backup, it started going up. I guess my data is gone?!!
@ProPublica@newsie.social FedRAMP does not technically require workers on US Federal projects to be US Persons (citizens or residents), but if they aren't a US Person it means they can't touch basically any meaningful data. Being a citizen (but not necessarily within US borders) is required for most data types, and for certain agencies it requires being a US Citizen specifically within the US.
