I got pushed away from arch because of the constant RTFM answer to questions when trying to google solutions to problems. Half the time they wouldn't even link the actual part of the manual they were talking about and just linked the whole thing to the person in question.

Learning to use recipes and then learning you don't need them are the two most important parts of learning how to cook imo. The first time I make something I use a recipe every time after that I do not and just go by feel/vibes unless I am trying to make something authentic.

It does in fact soften fabric. I use it for blankets to keep them in that nice smooth state. Yes it increases ware but the enjoyment of the blankets is enhanced dramatically imo.
