When I was on Android I could never find one I really loved. Trunks came the closest. On iOS Ivory and Mona are both amazing. Mona has a one time purchase so if you’re allergic to subscriptions that’s the way to go.
I think this is a big part of it. On the other site you’d really have to be early on a popular post, otherwise there’d already be thousands of comments and it didn’t feel worth the effort.
It’s hard to explain but for example see the difference of using Reddit web vs Apollo. Native apps have native system gestures and UI elements built in that generally feel a lot better to use.
