Same for savings. My savings rate is ~3.6% APY, so 1000 after a year is 1036, not much extra, but that's a meal or two.
Or Yolo it into the stock market, and potentially make 20% ($200) on it by next year.
It depends what you think the future holds.
Boring answer is: can you put it in a Roth IRA or other post-tax advantaged account? That's for if you think the world will be around when you retire.
If you think the price of ram is gonna double again, buy a 64 GB kit of DDR5 now and sell it on Craigslist next year

That's a DC converter. It says on it eingang (input) 220-240V~ 50-60hz 0.3A. That means it accepts AC power (from the squiggle after the V) of 220-240 Volts, alternating at a frequency between 50-60hz. That range means it covers most countries, but to me the 220-240V says it won't work in my house (the US is 120V, mostly). You can also do that math and find that yours can take as input up to 240V*0.3A = 60 VA (which isn't quite Watts, but kinda).
The other thing it says is Ausgang (output) Urated*and Uout with 24/26 V and then a solid line over a dashed line. That means DC voltage, so it doesn't need a Hz number. It also says 9W (watts), we can again do the math of I V = P -> I A * 24 V= 9 W, or about 2.5ish Amps. So you just need to know that the input (220V 60Hz) covers what your wall puts out, while 24V and less than 2.5 amps (or less than 9W) is what your bulb has to consume.
Generally speaking, if the voltage is over 100 its probably AC, and if it's under 50 it's DC, but always look for the little AC squiggle or DC line-with-dashed-line-underneath. The rest of the text all means stuff, and one of those looks like it might be the base shape like the other commenter said, but a lot of it is just various certifications that aren't super important to you and I
Your keyboard probably still works if you unplug it and wash it (including some soaking to get whatever Pepsi residue inside the switches out), but it'll take a few days to dry back out.
But for new keyboards, I just echo that you want hot swappable switches, desoldering switches sucks so hard. My keyboard is 12+ years old, so it probably isn't sold anymore
Sometimes discord servers grow and evolve abd the old stuff gets cleaned up, people who never use it are removed. I've got one server that did this, but they announced it first, and anyone who didn't say they wanted to stay by x date got removed. I hadn't used it in a long while and didn't recognize more than half of the people using it currently, so I let myself get removed, despite being there the day the server got founded.
Other servers though, for 5+ years it's just me and 4-5 other people, if I got removed silently from one of those, it might be more like what you suspect.
Whenever I see a article about 'cups' of coffee, I assume it's just an observation study thing where large groups of people get surveys on their habits and their regular checkups are more thorough and available to the researchers. So the researchers can only tease out so much info without actually running an experiment with controls, like how big a cup is.

It does seem like the open-weight models don't have easily monetizable adjacent money streams like support and services, best they have is inference cost. But the whole point of the open weights is that anyone else can come and take that part from them. It's a tough place to be in if the goal is only profitability. But since AI was declared a national security thing here in the US, the strategic value of ensuring we don't end up dominating global AI is probably worth it. And a steal at the 500mil per year loss they claim.
I do wonder what sustainable future looks like for an open weights lab, once we're past this wackiness. A very well tuned harness? That's kind of its own product. On-prem seployment support?
