I run a jellyfin server. I have gigabit fiber in ohio, USA. Some of my users found it basically unusable when they were geographicly far away, like Hawaii and Thailand. I switched to using cloudflare tunnel as an experiment and the difference was dramatic. They are now able to stream reliably almost as if they were geographically nearby. The fact of the matter is, the cloud flare CDN that's traffic passes through using the tunnel is infinitely better connected to the rest of the world than whatever home ISP you have.
That being said, cloudflare plays man in the middle to all your traffic, so I wouldn't use it for anything that's particularly secret. But for standard web pages it's amazing. I run my vaultwarden server directly on my home ip address and not through cloudflare tunnel.
I just don't get my panties in a bunch because the butthurt mob told me to.
It is incredibly common for games to require you to use their gaming service for crossplays. I'm actually more surprised that they didn't require it from the beginning.
I'll just login to my preexisting PSN account and continue on with my day.
So does literally every website you visit and every game service you use. Anyone who's ever had a PlayStation has a PSN account, and I've never been served an ad directly from PlayStation. So I don't understand what you think is happening...
My experience is the opposite. I used to take Adderall, and I fell that is too close to coke. I switched to Vyvanse about 6 months ago and I've been really liking it. It's much more soft, less of a comedown.
the kbin.social instance shows the instance name that the post comes from. it also has a lot of various lemmy and kbin instances posts on the home page. It seems the front page here is more things posted directly to this instance. However, there have been server changes which might have messed up the federation syncing.

It's almost always labeled on the mb which slots to use first. And for some reason it's usually the #2 slots
